What Is Love?

This is a question that gets many different answers.  Some people define love as a feeling or emotion.  Others define it as how you treat someone.  I myself see it as a little bit of both, because if someone treats you good then it makes you feel good and loved.  I always say that you can not truly love someone if the way you treat them makes them feel miserable and sad.  Love is happy and caring, not dreadful and gloomy.
Love is when the second that person leaves your sight you automatically miss them.  Your day is not complete if you do not see them or hear from them.  If the mere mention of their name makes you smile, then that is love.  It is when you think of ways to make sure that they are happy at all times and they in turn are doing the same for you.  Love is not one sided and only about what one person in the relationship wants, it is about what is best for both of you.  When you bring out the best in each other and are supportive and encouraging, that is love.
There are many more things that I can mention but just know that love never hurts and is one of the most wonderful feelings that you will ever have.  So, that is what love is for me.

What is love for you?
